One Goal

Our Vision
The vision of Praise Ministries Family Worship Center encompasses various aspects of ministry. However the core of our vision is to make a constructive impact in the city of Raleigh, NC by creating a multi-faceted, multi-ethnic, worship facility that fosters an atmosphere where individuals and families are welcome to experience diversity in worship, are nurtured in faith and obedience to the word of God, are empowered to live productively, are equipped spiritually and mature in relationship with Christ while discovering His individual plan for their lives.
It is our goal to achieve this by providing impactful, informative, educational and transformative biblical teachings, conferences, seminars and other ministerial training resources.
The vision of Praise Ministries Family Worship Center, is “boxless” meaning that it reaches beyond the walls of the local church into the community and worldwide. In an effort to keep our finger on the pulse of the local and global community, it is our goal to serve as a holistic outreach facility where individual and family’s needs are met and lives are developed.
Our goal to achieve this is by utilizing various in-reach and outreach programs within the ministry as well as networking and partnering with other branches of ministry and organizations locally and worldwide.
It is our ultimate goal to obtain excellence on every possible level. Therefore, we do not strive to do ministry, ministry is who we are.
What We Believe
Praise Ministries Family Worship Center (Praise Ministries) is a non-traditional church that lives up to its name. The bible commands us to “Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord…” and that is exactly what we do (Psalms 150:1-6). At Praise Ministries, we believe in allowing individuals the freedom to express themselves to God in worship and praise in whatever way they feel comfortable as long as it is in accordance with the Word of God (Psalms 47:1; Psalms 100). With that in mind, if you are looking for a quiet, undemonstrative, reserved style of worship, then you probably won’t enjoy our service.
We believe in all gifts of the Spirit which includes speaking in “unknown tongues” as a part of our worship. This is the method of communicating with God through His heavenly language for our personal edification (1 Corinthians 14:2 KJV). We also believe that those who have been given the gift of speaking in “other tongues” as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), followed by the gift of interpretation of tongues, (which is demonstrated publicly) is done for the edification of the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12:10 KJV).
Our Mission
Our mission is to perpetually function as a Christ-centered ministry focused on sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and bringing individuals into relationship with Him.
