Christian Library International

CLI  is a non-profit Christian based Prison Ministry that serves 1,600 prisons in all 50 states with Bibles, studies, and Christian books.

“I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." ~Matthew 25:36 (NIV)

The Mission of CLI

The mission of CLI is to advance Christ’s light and to bring to Christ, the imprisoned through Christian books, Bibles, CDs and DVDs. With these resources, men and women discover the good news of Jesus Christ and learn how to follow him. Since its founding in 1996, CLI has helped thousands of incarcerated men and women find new hope in the healing powers of Christ.  Currently, there are about 2 million prisoners in the US. CI is pleased to send the gospel message free of charge to our men, women and youth in 1,600 prisons, jails, youth detention centers and prison hospitals.

The Mission of the North Carolina Food Bank

The Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina is a nonprofit organization that has provided food for people at risk of hunger in 34 counties in central and eastern North Carolina for more than 35 years. The Food Bank serves a network of more than 800 partner agencies such as soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and programs for children and adults through distribution centers in Durham, Greenville, New Bern, Raleigh, the Sandhills (Southern Pines), and Wilmington. In fiscal year 2014-2015, the Food Bank distributed more than 57.2 million pounds of food and non-food essentials through these agencies. Sadly, food insecurity remains a serious problem in central and eastern North Carolina. In these counties, more than 630,000 people struggle to access nutritious and adequate amounts of food necessary for an active and healthy life.
