Pastor Gwen Weatherspoon, is the Lead Pastor of Praise Ministries Family Worship Center which is a non-denominational, multi-ethnic, ministry located in Raleigh, North Carolina. She has served several years in ministry and has received her formal training and call to ministry under the tutelage of our founder, the late Chief Apostle Dr. Shirley E. Henderson.

Pastor Gwen is a native Floridian and was educated in the Volusia County Public School System. After graduating High School, she furthered her education by graduating with a Bachelors of Business Degree and a Masters of Business, both from Strayer University.

Pastor Gwen, is an anointed woman of God who ministers with power, authority and clarity. She has an infectious love for life, a deep love for people and a zealous love for ministry. Her passion is to build the local church across the earth, to see people discover their purpose in Christ, and to develop and strengthen leadership.

She pastors a faith-filled congregation, whose members are dedicated to building the Kingdom of God, one soul at a time. Her life is dedicated to living by example. And her objective is to deliver the uncompromising Word of God so that people will be propelled into living the Word and applying it to their lives. Pastor Gwen’s relevant and practical teaching and preaching style, has enabled her to reach others with humor, warmth, transparency and strength. Her messages of life and purpose are simple and designed to empower men and women to live up to their full potential in Christ and to embrace and to build the broken.
